SUMMER IS HERE!

Right off the bat, I would like to congratulate our very own Brett Mikoll (@brettmikoll) for graduating from the University at Buffalo this year with a degree in the fine arts. Thus, he will be joining Dazzle full time from here on out. HA! Congrats Brett!

While I was at SXSW this year I was introduced to and worked with up and coming MC/Producer duo Chiddy Bang at the Crush Management showcase. These guys are unequivocally one of the most talented twosomes I have ever witnessed live since I went to see Brian Boitano & Michelle Kwan tear it up together. These guys are going to be huge. They're EP that they are about to drop is wild. Props!

Additionally, friends of our's Anarbor recently released their latest album called "The Words You Don't Swallow". This has been on repeat all week. I strongly encourage you to check it out.

SPOOKY BUSINESS??

I know everyone is wondering what it is that we are talking about when we post about Spooky Business.

Well, Spooky Business is an experience that everyone should have as soon as possible.

Spooky is not a brand, a person, or an entity. It is nothing. In fact, we are still trying to figure out what it is to be exact. At this point, Spooky Business is the name of the party we have at The Pink in Buffalo on select dates. I consider Spooky to be a project that Dazzle started that oddly enough took off. Attendance is up and The Pink keeps inviting us back! Spooky Business is a gathering of great people, drinks, and music that we choose ourselves.

Damn, I/We fucked up on this one real hard! It is just 3 days shy of being month since our last post. I'm going to take the easy way out of this one and say that there has been so much going on. I hope everyone can accept our apology and forgive us.

So, since Mass Appeal, I have plenty of pictures to show you of our homie DJ FLO and his main man, Jonesy, getting down in Rome, Italy and showing all of the Italians how DMF does fashion. Since the last post FLO also dropped a new podcast entitled "Holiday Hustling". As always, FLO has the latest jams to get your night raging. If you haven't subscribed yet, get on your game and get on iTunes and search Hustle & FLO radio! Dude kills it. Be on the look out for a unique collaboration of FLO & DMF in an upcoming mix-tape and fitted cap collection.

With December upon us, it was time for our friends at Block Club to release their newest edition of the monthly magazine. In this months issue be sure to keep your eyes peeled for our first ever DMF Ad in Block Club! Since it's been almost a month since I last had the chance to last express what DMF has been into musically, now it is my chance to lay it on pretty thick. First off, FINALLY, The Clipse newest album is in my iTunes! I have been waiting for this album since late summer and am super pumped to finally get down on all of the songs. The album entitled "Til' The Casket Drops" is one of the most highly anticipated albums of the winter and Bass and I will be getting down on this for weeks to come.

This month, Lil' Wayne has also dropped his newest mix-tape "No Ceilings". Over the last year or so, Weezy has come to grow on me and this mix-tape was no step backwards. I know some people just can't get into him but you love to hate him! With his VH1 documentary of Behind The Music and also The Carter Documentary itself here, there has to be a spot on your iPod for Weezy.

Alright, feel like I have written too much now, and besides the Sabres game is on, and I might just have to watch the Weezy Documentary again! Next post won't be so far off, Thanks for staying in touch!

Mass Appeal Recap

Let me try and break this down for you, so think back to when you were in class in high school, a project is due that everyone is going to see when you present, you're super nervous but in a weird way actually excited, you've worked so hard putting it all together and you know and feel that it kicks ass, but what will everyone else think? That's the feeling I got when I saw this...

November 6th, Brett, myself and Arjun made our presence known at the Mass Appeal Fashion Show put on by the Elmwood Village Association in awesome Buffalo, New York. We had an amazing time! It was a special feeling to see your work put on a runway and shown off to everyone.

To our models, and ALL of the people behind the scenes, Thank you! We hope to be back next year and be bigger than ever.

Library Bloggin'

If there is one thing I can say I definitely enjoy, it's people watching. Seeing that I am posted up for an hour or so in the library at school, I thought it's the perfect time to let everyone in on a little update and tell you which characters in the library I am totally creeping in on. Of course, the cute cuddling couple. Don't get me wrong, when I'm with my girl I do what needs to be done. But in the library at school!? Take it home! Ha! And why is there always that person that has to talk super loud? I just want to be like "Hey, let me give you a little secret, this school, actually has a cafeteria too!"

Enough of that, how was everyone's Halloween? I had a great time. On the 30th, Dazzle's boy DJ DStar was back in town to drop it at Bayou and I had to make my way to the Chip Strip to see my man in action. I was not let down, posted up behind DStar all night I witnessed masses of costume goers getting down to him. Solid performance.

On the 31st I had an amazing night out, I had not been out like that in a long time, it was good to see everyone, see what everyone was dressed up as, and then finally get down on the dance floor of course. Brett and I went to the Halloween Party at the Town Ballroom as we have in years past and it was not disappointment. If you were not lucky enough to see us in person, check the pictures below to see us as Mac & PC from the Apple commercials. Props to the dudes dressed as Happy Gilmore and his caddy. So funny! I don't know how they didn't win best costume.

I've been known to blink...

I'm kind of antsy to get this school day over with, test next class then some lecture, then I am out! Tonight is the Mass Appeal fashion show on Elmwood Ave. I have seriously excited to get down there and see how this event goes down. From what I've heard, a ton of people go and there is some good clothing to be seen. Aside from seeing our own Smooth Criminals line walk the runway, I am really looking forward to what kind of fashionable people show up for the event. Again, more people watching will be done tonight. So, if you don't have anything planned this evening, come down to Elmwood and see the Mass Appeal event, it's only 10 dollars for open tickets. Get all the info here! Pictures will be taken as per Brett and posted up real quick!

Mass Updates

Well, at least fall made an appearance in Buffalo for about 5 days...Now we're back on this rain gig. That's right, the rain is in full effect in the Queen City on the verge of Halloween weekend. So much has gone down in the past week, in no particular order, FLO debuts his brand new podcast, I am doing the best I have ever done in school, DStar will be back in Buffalo this weekend rocking the chip strip and Dazzle will also be featured in the Mass Appeal fashion event!

Now on his 9th edition of Hustle & FLO radio, our main man from NYC, NY has released his newest podcast featuring an hour and twenty minutes of pleasure to your ears! There is a certain number of things I look forward to each month; one being the J. Crew magazine, my GQ magazine and then FLO's podcast. Its like getting a new CD except...it's free! If you love to dance and/or party then show FLO some love and subscribe to his podcast on iTunes and if you're in the NYC area, go get down!!

Hustle & FLO 9 "NYC's King Vagabond"

While we're on the subject of ragin', anyone who is in the great city of Buffalo and looking for the best local & rising DJ needs to make a stop and see DJ DStar this weekend. DStar will be killing the speakers at three clubs this weekend in the city. First, on Thursday head on down to Omega, but leave your pink shirt at home, and see DStar in his first set since the Dazzle finale party. If you didn't use all your party skills on Thursday, then Friday come by Bayou on the chip strip and kick it with some of the Dazzle crew as we welcome back our boy. And, Finally, on Saturday, Halloween night, get dressed up in your most inappropriate costume and do the monster mash at Encore with DStar. It will be epic!

I am pretty confident in saying that no one has more hometown spirit then Dazzle Me Formal. We love this city! Even though we don't plaster it all over our tees and caps, Dazzle is dedicated on helping put Buffalo on the fashion map for permanent. With that being said, everyone at Dazzle Me Formal is humbled to be in this years Mass Appeal fashion show on Firday, November 6th. The Elmwood Village association was polite enough to ask Dazzle if we would like to have our Smooth Criminals 2009 line up walk the runway this year and there was no way we could turn it down! I Was Kind Of Hoping For A Tie

I know that this afternoon's Bills game has caught some national attention seeing as it went into overtime so hopefully everyone will understand what I am talking about. I'll admit, I was flipping back a fourth between the Bills game and Hitch on TNT. Honestly, the Bills of late have been boring me and this game was no different. After Hitch, I flipped back to the football game to see that it was headed into overtime and was somewhat enthused and curious to see how this weeks game would turn out. After watching probably the longest overtime football game I have ever seen along with all of the bad turnovers and many 3rd and long failed conversions I was really, really hoping that the game would end in a tie. Then what would everyone say? We wouldn't have won, but, we wouldn't have lost...Think about it.

Alright, it's been a while since Brett and I made our trip down to The City Garage in Ellicottville, NY to deliver their Dazzle branded custom caps and from what we have been told everything went great! Dazzle loves getting involved with independent shops all over the Western New York area and even out of state vendors. The City Garage was very appreciative of their brand new New Era 5950 caps and tees. If you weren't down their for the festivities, check it out! Remember our friends from The Summer Set? Well if you haven't heard, they just recently dropped a brand new album. While Seabass was on tour with the band I had a chance to hang with the crew on their tour stop to Buffalo and I have to say they are some real solid people. Everyone needs to help out our friends from The Summer Set and go out and buy the new album or head on out to a show of theirs. Dazzle and The Summer Set would appreciate it, and your ears will enjoy it too.

Octoberfest Weekend

I would say that at least 3 out of 5 people I have talked to this week have said that they will be heading on down to Ellicotville for their annual Octoberfest. Personally, I have never had the pleasure of being in Ellicotville for Octoberfest or in Ellicotville for any reason, so I am quite jealous. However, on Friday, Brett and myself will be heading down there bright and early to drop off the official Dazzle Me Formal and City Garage collaboration on New Era 5950 caps and tees. Our trip to Ellicotville will be short lived though seeing as Brett and I are needed back in Buffalo to get some work done. In any case, Brett and I are excited to see the area and more excited to get Dazzle into City Garage and out to you!

Lately I have been on this binge of hip-hop music and dance/club type music. That all changed thanks to Dazzle Me Formal music aficionado Brett. Brett did the good deed of spreading his musical knowledge onto me as he always does and introduced me to The Kooks. I am aware that I am probably a little late hopping on this train, however, if you have never heard of them, give it a chance and I know you will not be let down. Their material has easily climbed to the top of my favorite albums list.

Finally, yesterday I had the fine enjoyment of shipping Dazzle Me Formal tees to Italy. This amazed me and still does amaze me know even typing about it. We can't thank everyone enough for the exposure you have all created for us. We hope to continue to grow and share our ideas with the world!

Busy, Busy, Busy

I've been running around so much lately I will admit I have been neglecting my blogging. However, tonight is pretty special, to me. The NHL season started tonight! I don't know how many of our Dazzle followers are hockey fans, but myself, Brett and Sean are. This beginning of hockey season also puts into perspective the time of year. It is Fall, the start of the month of October, and one more month closer to winter and snow here in Buffalo! It's exciting.

On to a more important subject that includes everyone, Thanks a lot for purchasing, looking at, or talking about our new Fall 2009 Smooth Criminal line. It is such an accomplishment to see how nine months of work can pay off. We're seeing product move and plan to explore even more ways to take Dazzle Me Formal to the next level. There are still quantities of tees and caps left, don't wait, most of the product is a limited run!

I've also been in communication with Seabass as he has been on the road with The Secret Handshake for the AP Tour. A few days ago Bass sent me some photos from his recent stop in Chicago, IL. Now, personally I have never been to Chi-town, however these photos make me pretty jealous. I am a big city fan and I am thinking that I will be adding Chicago to my "cities to see" list.

Smooth Criminals

Finally, it is here. The highly anticipated Fall 2009 release from Dazzle Me Formal is ready for all of you to enjoy! We have been working very hard on this line up to make sure that Dazzle's presence can once again be felt throughout Buffalo and throughout the states and world alike.

Four new tee shirt designs have been released with the title of the line up being "Smooth Criminals". Each of the four tee shirts feature either a victim or a criminal who has been involved in a domestic abuse confrontation. Dazzle Me Formal in no way endorses domestic abuse, on the contrary, Dazzle Me Formal would like to expose domestic abuse as it is happening too often in our world today. Hollywood has the biggest recognition of domestic abuse seeing as the names involved are usually household names. Dazzle Me Formal would like to try and deter this growing problem by using four individuals from Hollywood on our tee shirts.

Among the new tees, Dazzle Me Formal has come back stronger than ever with two new 5950 New Era caps. The first cap, The Colvin II, is a staple in the Buffalo community and Dazzle Me Formal wanted to provide our great city with a cap as Buffalo's support is unrivaled. The second cap, The Kensington, is a more universal and classic cap. The Kensington features an elegant frame that showcases the strong "D" inside of it representing Dazzle Me Formal.

Sometimes just sitting back and thinking about it, I can't believe in four days Dazzle Me Formal is about to drop it like its hot. At the moment Brett and I are sitting in Spot Coffee on Main St. in Williamsville, NY and it is packed! I've never been to spot during the evening when it has been this busy. I am assuming that everyone is just getting out of work, or looking for a little something to do on a Wednesday night. Technically, this is the first blog post I have ever done from the "road". From the road meaning, not at home, it feels good.

On Monday night we all headed on down to Pano's on Elmwood Avenue to say bye to Seabass who is currently en route to Nashville on the AP Tour with The Secret Handshake. I am pretty certain with headliners such as The Academy Is... and Mayday Parade this tour will be awesome. Anyone going out to see the show should say hey to our man! We will miss him for a few months until the tour hits Buffalo on the 12th of November. Just look for the chump in a fitted cap with a sly grin on his face and tell him Chest says "SAH!".

Today I read one of the most exciting things on Buffalo Rising, Kanye West will be making a tour stop in Buffalo! I am so ready for this. Normally I am not one to pay 40 dollars, or go to HSBC to see such an event, however, if you know me, you know I am so down with Kanye. I am 85 percent sure at this point that I would like to attend. Peep the article linked above and these Air Yeezy's being raffled off, one of which Kanye wore to the 50th Grammy Awards. Also, these wooden boxes are epic.

One Week & Counting

Around this time next week, Dazzle Me Formal will be dropping our Fall 2009 line up featuring some of our most highly anticipated work ever. We're all very excited and we hope you are too. A concrete time for the drop will be announced later on this week so make sure to check back to find out when you can be the first to get your hands on your size tee and caps.

This weekend Seabass was in NYC attending the Fashion Indie "Young Guns" show featuring some of our hometown heroes like DJ DStar, The Bird Day and Adam Curtin of This Is An Empire cutting it up on the turn tables. Seabass was also able to meet up with our man DJ Flo and had a great time with him roaming the streets and clubs of NYC meeting everyone. Seabass and Dazzle would like to extend a huge thank you to anyone in NYC taking an interest in our product and we're excited to ship our product to your area.

A few months ago I had the pleasure of buying a Hugo Boss suit, I love it. But the other night I saw that Cheap Monday has just dropped some suits for around 300$. Now that sounds like a deal to me! The best thing about this is that it could require minimal tailoring as the suits are of a slim cut. This is huge for anyone out their looking to get into a suit for good price and a good make. Check it!

New Look, Ya Dig?

Whenever Brett calls me at 1:46 AM, I know either a) he is in trouble and needs Chest daddy to save him, or b) he has a dope design that he needs to show me. In this case, it was b) a dope design he needed to show me! Awoken by Brett I was told to hop on our website, from there I was amazed and now fully awake. This is our new website and layout as prepared by Brett! Ya dig?? I know I do. The photos featured are from our Fall 2009 lineup and feature some of the gear that will be dropping on September 27th. On that day we plan to have a new web-store layout with new product for everyone!

I don't know how everyone else feels, but I love fall. The temperature is perfect, it is easy to layer, and layering provides for better fashion. Along with them will be Adam Curtin of the Buffalo band; This Is An Empire. Adam will be killing it on the DJ end of his skills as well. Lastly, coming off of a huge summer in Buffalo is our man DJ DStar. DStar always cuts it up so well on the turntables and I am sure he will not disappoint at this event. Our friend Corey and his crew from Fashion Indie will be putting on this talent filled event and those people know how to get down, so I suggest that if you're in the area, you get there!

I have been known to mention my music preferences while blogging. Tonight, my pick is Jay-Z's new album The Blueprint 3. I have been in search of this album for a while and finally managed to get my hands on it and I have not been disappointed at all. I was never actually a major Jay-Z fan but this album could possibly change my opinion. It has amazing beats and rhythm that will keep your head knocking and keep that volume past half. Plus, the commercial for the album and Rhapsody is amazing.

Anyone else watch the VMA's on Sunday night? Yes I know my man Kanye might have changed many opinions but that is another story. My concern is how did Drake not win best new artist!? I can say with confidence that in a year from now we will still be hearing from Drake and Lady Gaga might be a thing of the past. Don't get me wrong, I like me some Gaga, but Drake! The dude is amazing. Expect big things.

Now for some some business, this week Dazzle is going to make a final stop to the printer for a long time as we pick up our Fall 2009 tees. Football Sunday.

It seems like we've been waiting all summer for this to happen. It's week one of the NFL season and it finally hit me today that it is back to a routine. Back to a schedule, back to normalcy. Believe me I'll miss summer but there is too much to look forward to in the future to dwell on the past. First off, on Monday Night Football, our hometown beloved Buffalo Bills will play. Regardless of the outcome, I am pretty sure it will be a great way to end a Monday.

It feels great to finally have this opportunity to blog for Dazzle Me Formal, last night Brett and I we're working on some things and it just hit me that it has been at least 2 or 3 months since I have done a legit blog post. There is so much I haven't been able to share with anyone, but luckily, I have stored some of my favorite images and thoughts and now will be able to get back on track.

Being back in school puts a nice perspective on things as well, I have now become busier with school and working and Dazzle. It feels great also. During this hour break from class I am just going to be simple and show you what I have been into, and what I have found to be interesting over the past few months.

Bass Is Back In Town

OK OK Let me clarify, our man will be in town for one night only! Bass is currently tour managing The Summer Set and is joining them for their tour with The Cab. The tour makes a stop in glorious Buffalo on Saturday night the 11th of July. I am told there is still some tickets to be sold and if you want to catch a glimpse of the elusive Bass you might want to attend. You'll also get to hear the guitars of The Summer Set! However, if you can't make it to the show and are able to get in, then come on down to Hardware after the show to chill and hear the sweet sounds of hip-hop night. It will surely be a great weekend.

Just in time for the great summer weather our boy DJ FLO has dropped yet another one of his dope podcasts. As I told everyone last post, FLO was in LA just kicking it on Venice Beach followed by some spinning when the sun went down. If you haven't subscribed to FLO's Podcast yet then you are really missing out on some solid summer party jams. Hit him up at Hustle & FLO radio on Itunes!

Today I was also able to talk to Brett on the phone for a bit. I think every time I talk to this dude weather be it on Skype, Facebook or today, the Phone I get more and more jealous of him being in Rome and me being at home! I mean I love this city, but Rome! Come on. Brett is working on finalizing some designs and I should have them soon for printing.

And...Our brand new never before seen caps came in today! New Era hit Bass up and I will be doing yet another pick up next week. I am so excited to see these new designs. Two pick ups down, one to go before we have all our caps in for the fall release.

Straight kicking it today going over some emails from everyone about important upcoming events and deadlines and our progress for our fall line up preparation. Myself and Stephen will be meeting up this week to go over some more details and setting dates for having our fall release show and after party and the venues in which we would like to have hold such an event. Along with getting down on Brett's designs that are just about finished. Brett has asked for some of our input while he parades around Rome. Ha!

Our tees for our models should be arriving today and it's just another stepping stone to the fall!

On Monday I picked up some fresh New Era fitted caps that have arrived off of the production line and I am excited to see these get into that hands of many patient waiting supporters!

Sunday Lounging

Sundays are only for a few things in my mind, one being a recovery from the previous night, the second is bumming around and finally, Sunday usually means dinner at Grams house. Seeing that today is Sunday I have successfully completed two items in that list with the exception of eating dinner at Grams because she is out of town.

So instead I can give everyone the low down on some solid material that I have been sitting on for the past few days. First off, Corey and I have begun an epic battle on which sneakers would be more worth a purchase. Corey is into some Adidas with wings (literally) on the side of the shoe. My choice for a shoe of choice would obviously be the Nike Air Yeezy's. Peep the pictures posted below and let's hear some feedback.

On Thursday I placed an order for our initial tee test runs and the tees that our models will be wearing for the next photo shoot. I should be receiving the shipment Tuesday and I am so excited to see this fall line up start to take some shape. Brett also let me see some of his work on the design for our fall line up and it just gets the adrenaline running. The final designs should be completed within the next few weeks with approval from the Dazzle board we will keep this train in motion. I am so ready to see this ink hit the tees. Brett knows what he is doing, straight up! Oh, did I mention a New Era Cap pick-up tomorrow?

Speaking of our man Brett, he made it to Rome! After some plane delays and a night in a Holiday in and then running through the airport like Home Alone, he made it. With some down time in the airport Brett was also able to finish up some designs, looking good, believe me. How about that, we're all pretty jealous of Brett and his tour of Italy that he will be experiencing until the end of this month. He's going to keep me updated on what he is up to along with some pictures for us all to see! Although we won't have any phone contact, the e-mails are always flowing. He sent me the first of many photos on Friday, check it below.

Side note, I just finished watching Notorious the movie for the first time. Amazin' Big Poppa is a rap icon. Know your roots!

When In Rome...

With the departing of Brett today to his schooling in Rome, Italy for the month I am now the main Dazzle man on the home front with continuing help from Stephen, Kitty, Arjun and Corey. To celebrate Brett's journey to the old world, last night we had an amazing crew of Dazzle friends and personal friends alike gather at JP Bullfeather's on Elmwood Ave. and it got pretty real! It was a great way to send off Brett for the month and it just gives an excuse to go out again once he arrives home!

However, there is much work to be done in the next two months! Our new caps should be off the production line very soon and the ordering of tees for the new Dazzle fall line up will be taking place in the next week. Like I have said before, it is all very exciting! We can't wait to show you all what we have been working on.

Today I was cruising the Dazzle Twitter page and peeped at our man DJ DStar's Twitter and noticed he has a new website up along with a solid June Mix up for FREE download along with other mixes and various remixes. I am listening and downloading as we speak. Sounds awesome and is sure to get your Grad party bumping! Hit it up here!

Today was one of the most boring Sundays I have experienced in a long time. After hanging with our boy Arjun who just came home from Australia and getting down on the dance floor at Hardware it was a day of bumming around and watching the most TV I have in awhile. However there are some good aspects of a rainy Sunday I suppose, myself being a optimistic can seem to find the good in anything. Sunday is a solid day of TV, today I watched MIB and some of that Wipeout show, which by the way is hilarious. Sunday is also a guaranteed good meal courtesy of Mom or Grandma.

Doing some ordering tomorrow! We're getting closer...

Michael Jackson Trumps Any Other Topic Today

Shocked. It's the only word that comes to mind when I heard of my man MJ passing Thursday afternoon. It seems like one of those staple events in one's life. 30 years from now someone will ask me where I was when I heard the news and I'll be able to recall it in an instant. I suppose we all know death is inevitable but this was too soon.

I don't care what you think of the man, but you need to respect him. Michael Jackson is the greatest American entertainer of all time. He might be the best performer that our world will ever see and we need to be grateful. Anyone alive has liked or likes a Jackson song, Halloween we hear Thriller, dance parties we hear Bille Jean. Michael is always going to be apart of us.

That being said, if you can find the Thriller album, I recommend you buy it and keep it forever.

On the other hand, last night I was able to finally see our boy DJ Dstar get it going at Bayou. Myself along with Corey, Julian of Crush and Stephen hung out upstairs and watched everyone get rowdy to some scratching courtesy of Dstar while sipping on our beverage of choice. Someday I will be able to stay for his whole session but this teaser was a great preview.

Brett let me peek at his new designs today for the fall, I was already impressed and they have not even left the computer screen yet! I can't express how excited I am for this fall line up to drop! Just make sure you check back for updates or add us on Twitter!

Burnin' Up

Yesterday I had the pleasure of taking my first trip to the beach of the summer! It was a perfect day for it, the temperature hovered around a solid 75 degrees and I was burning up out on the sand tossing the Kan-Jam frisbee around. Any of our non-Buffalo readers should check out the official Kan-Jam website to see what I am talking about. By the end of the day when I got back home I was looking like a fresh boiled lobster. Straight up, it hurts. I was rocking some SPF 4 for my first trip this summer which wasn't such a smart idea. Should have went for some 15 I suppose. Anyways, if you see me and I am peeling like a maniac, you'll know why.

After soothing my tanning wounds for a bit I was readying myself for a meeting with the members of Dazzle still at home. Brett, Stephen, Corey and I sat down for about 2 hours yesterday and got a lot of solid work done and keeping the wheels of Dazzle in motion with Seabass on the road and Brett to soon be departing to Rome, Italy for the month of July. Our new caps should be hitting us soon and the ordering of new tees is upon us! Very exciting! Keep in touch to hear of the finalized release date and party for Dazzle Me Formal's fall line.

This weather outside right now is just putting me into a nap mode. However, to avoid a 2 or 3 hour waste of my evening I chose to blog! And it is a great time for me to be blogging because Brett hit me with some pictures from our cookout on Sunday afternoon. Once again, Thanks to everyone that came out to show us some love and check out our banner. Everyone has a lot of fun and there was plenty of sun and 64 hot dogs and 40 hamburgers that got devoured along with assorted other snacks. Kitty's aim with a water balloon was also shown as she attempted, but unsuccessfully tried to hit me. Our banner will be out rain or shine all summer, drive on by 1032 Elmwood and check it out.

Sadly, yesterday Bass left us again! Only good things came come out of his tour managing though. Bass will be on the road with The Summer Set on their tour with The Cab all summer. Drop him a line and show Dazzle some love by wearing your gear to the show!

Lately I have been itching to get some shopping done, my next investment; Desert boots. It just needs to be done!

Alright, alright I am getting back on my blogging after being on the down low for a few days. Straight up, today is a great day. I woke up feeling full of energy and I am being productive and in a non stop mood that will hopefully end with some drinks with Bass as he departs for tour tomorrow with The Summer Set. Anyone planning on going to see the show make sure you drop a line to Bass. On the subject of travel, Arjun will be coming home the 28th of June. I am looking forward to seeing my home boy again! It has been too long and Dazzle misses its boy. Also, Brett will be hanging in NYC for this weekend coming up as he prepares to go to Rome, Italy for all of July. Apparently I am the only member of Dazzle who doesn't travel. That is soon to change...

Who ever knew left over steak could be so good? I sliced it up nice and thin and threw some sauce over it and made myself a little side salad and had a feast that will keep this good day rocking. On this subject of good eats, anyone who came by the BBQ yesterday on Elmwood, thanks for coming to hang for a bit! We all had a great time listening to some Flo and assorted tunes via Stephen and his booming P.A. system. The dogs and burgers were being grilled all day with the brews flowing and just a great chill vibe we expected from this event. Pictures to follow shortly this week!

Finally the rain has hit Buffalo this afternoon. Totally killing the vibe of having my windows down and pumping that Flo hard. Today I updated our Dazzle Twitter page more than I think I ever have. I think it is a sign of how hard I work at work. Thanks to everyone that is following, I am noticing more and more everyday! Solid! Bass and Stephen just got back from NYC for the weekend. I was pretty jealous once I learned of them hanging with Flo in Central Park. However this is just an excuse for all of the Dazzle crew to go back and hang for a weekend this summer. Speaking of summer, it is approaching extremely fast it seems.

Last week myself, Bass and Shaant picked up the Dazzle banner that is soon to be draped over the balcony at the crib on Elmwood. It looks so dope! The company did an amazing job for us and we're all excited to see this babe fly in the Buffalo sunshine. Check a sneak below and drive by next week to see the banner in full flight.

I've heard so many great things about the newly released Hangover movie and can't wait to check that out sometime this week. Along with The Hangover I am so down to see the new Disney/Pixar movie UP. Don't Speed

When was the last time anyone was in Michael's craft store? It is really amazing how much time and money one could put down in there. Today I was walking through looking for some little things for our shipping boxes and for a nice gift for some of our friends tonight. I think I hit almost every aisle and found plenty of objects I just wanted to use. However, I narrowed it down to some key purchases. It is the small stuff inside of a large package that makes it all the different. That is what were aiming for at Dazzle.

Today was/is a packed day, I took my new suit to get tailored finally. Stephen hooked me up hard on a solid Hugo Boss suit, I am so stoaked to get this on my body and show it off. Look good, feel good, or that is how it goes so I hear. I made a trip to the Cheektowaga Town Court then to pay a 200 dollar ticket. Ouch. Do the speed limit everyone, I am vowing for that to be the last ticket I will ever pay.

Tonight we're heading to Pano's for some talk and some eat and some wine. Always a good time and it the best way to start off a Friday night. If Kitty comes tonight and does not get anything to eat or drink I am going to be heated! I don't think she's an alien, girl needs to eat. HA

Happy Birthday to our friends Jeff Czum and Arjun Jain! Jeff turns 34 today and Arjun turns well, we're not really sure. Arjun is a mystery to everyone at Dazzle, but if I had to put a number on it I'd say Arjun is 21! Make sure if you see these men out tonight you wish them a happy birthday.

Early last week Seabass sent Jeff a questionnaire about his memories of Dazzle and other various topics. Jeff gladly answered the questions for us and Seabass then forwarded me the answers for everyone to read! Enjoy.

For anyone keeping tabs on our Twitter account, last week I was on a man hunt to find myself some chinos. I stopped into every store possible at the Galleria Mall including Gap, Banana, and J.Crew. Once finding something I thought would satisfy my tastes I bought the classic fit J.Crew chinos only to find a slim fit pair of chinos for sale on J.Crews website. Long story short,I ordered the slim fit and today they have arrived and I am super pumped. The slim fit is the way to be and I don't know how other men like their pants but a slim cut just looks better on myself. Next I am going to be getting into that Nantucket red color chino. Check them out!

Oh and side note, last night at hockey I got a puck right to my money maker. The cut is healing up pretty fast. Im not sure if I want it to though, looks pretty tough. See you out tonight!

Good friends with Seabass, we go way back to when we were both in

local bands playing shows at Classic Roxx. Eventually we started

touring and he later became our tour manager for Cute. Now I rep Dazzle hardcore.

Why do you enjoy writing/recording/performing music?

It's a chance to make something from nothing...transfer emotion into music.

Any funny memories with the Dazzle crew?

One of my best memories is with Seabass. We just got finished

recording an EP in NYC when we both were very young...maybe 15 and 16.

We had a flight to Buffalo the next day and we ended up being

stranded in the middle of NYC at midnight. Eventually we smuggled our

way to the airport and stole a bunch of food since we didn't eat all

day. Slept in JFK Airport for 10 hours. Flew back to Buffalo. Good times.

What is your favorite part of the country to tour?

East coast...The shows are just insane in that part of the country

Favorite city to play?

One of my favorite cities to play in is Chicago. We have never had a bad

show in that city.

What music have you been into recently?

I’ve been really into a band called Frightened Rabbit, they are a

Scottish folk band and they are pretty dope. I have also been

listening to Jimmy Eat World, Tom Petty, Feist, Anarbor, Incubus,

Minus The Bear and Goldfinger. Ha I’m all over the place with my music.

What is your favorite piece of clothing you have ever owned? Why?

Three Year Anniversary of Dazzle Me Formal: Past, Present, Future

Three years ago as of May 23rd, Dazzle Me Formal was born and has not stopped growing and making moves. On behalf of Seabass, Brett, Myself, Arjun and everyone else involved we would like to give a big Thank You to everyone! Now everyone may be a general term, however, anyone who has every had an idea, inspired us, purchased any cap, or tee, or even came to an event or party, you have done more for us than we can express through size 12 font.

As a dedication to our past, all of the pics featured below are from past events and releases. So many memories and great times. Dazzle has evolved into a brand beyond expectations. As of now, we know we have been somewhat stagnant but this is the result of us carefully planning and producing goods that we hope can exceed past releases! Brett is hard at work designing new threads for everyone as we speak. This dude is up on his grind as becomes a better designer every time I see his work. Get ready to be amazed. Our staple, the New Era 5950 cap is in production. Orders have be submitted. That's it, that's all. For now. Just make sure you're here when they drop!

In the future, Dazzle is going to stretch out our limbs and exercise all of our resources. This will be in an effort to produce more for all of you! We are always working and the emails never cease. We want this!

What up, what up? Honestly, I think this Diana Ross I am jamming to right now is getting me in the working mood! A lot of good things also piled on top of my Diana jams are putting me in this swell mood, it should be a great night with our crew meeting at the crib on Elmwood in a few hours followed by a solid dinner session at Panos. I hope the windows are open!

This week is only half way over and I am already pleased with how it is turning out. For anyone that is unaware, as of 12:00 am Tuesday morning I am now 21 years old! Thank you to everyone who has helped me celebrate! Last night myself and my great friends we're hanging on Elmwood at Cole's and then made a little stop at JP Bullfeather's. I had an amazing time, however today I am paying for it. It's all good though, all about the celebration. Let's keep the good times flowing this week. I hope to see everyone out.

To catch up on some of the past weeks events, our boy DJ Flo was in Zurich, Switzerland spinning and was featured on Switzerland's largest radio station! Congrats to him and Jonesy. Flo also hit me up with an email while he was in Switzerland and told me he is sending us some of his mix tapes to send out in any Dazzle purchase. On the track list for the mix Flo even included his boys from Buffalo as you can peep the Dazzle logo on the artwork. Keep an eye out for that in your box next time you purchase from Dazzle. Tunes I've Been Into Lately

Somtimes it is hard to keep up on all of this new and different music coming out. However this week I was able to narrow it down to a couple of albums I have been so into and everyone should listen to if they haven't. Straight up, the Drake album "So Far Gone" is amazing! I haven't been able to listen to a hip-hop album all the way through like this is in a long time. It has a great mix of some solid beats and summer jams along with tracks that could be tossed on when you're hanging with your special someone. I highly recommend.

Everyone at Dazzle is also huge J Dilla fans and when I saw this I got pretty excited:

About a week ago, Brett received an intriguing email from a aspiring senior high school student from Sweet Home who was interested in doing some intern work with Dazzle. This was a surprise to all of us as Dazzle has never had someone ask for such a position within our establishment. After consideration we decided to take on Kathleen Smith at an intern position for Dazzle Me Formal! Last week Thursday, myself and Brett met up with Kathleen, now officially under the name of Kitty Kat to everyone at Dazzle. Kitty Kat and Brett along with myself had a great conversation on what interested her in our company and what her role would be in our future. Bottom line; we're excited to have a mind such as Kitty Kat's to help us out and look forward to having her input.

Has anyone seen that new Verizon wireless TV commercial where the dude pours all the ice cream sprinkles all over the counter? I can't find that video anywhere! It seriously makes me laugh every time i watch it. If anyone knows where I can see it, hit me up with a link.

Meet Dazzle Me Formal Part IV: Arjun

It's nice to finally see the sun out today! Anyone else who left school early is cool by me. Now that everyone is reading this, I am now outside or finding an excuse to stay outside all day!

Tonight Brett has an art show in the city, I am pretty interested to see what this kid works on all night when he "can't" come out. I think he's lying but I'll let everyone know after I snap some shots tonight of him in action. For anyone interested, come check it out! Here's some information on it. Drop on by and we'll have some drinks and discuss politics and art.

I woke this morning to an exciting text; Bass is on the road again! Today at high Noon, Bass went to meet up with Honey, Honey and head out on their tour for a few weeks. Im going to go with two extremes here, one Grandpa Scamurra, and the other being Kanye West. Gramps always has a great perspective on life and an appreciation for family that I want to model. Kanye is just a pioneer and a original person who doesnt give a fuck what anyone has to say.

Bass left for tour with CUTE in October of 08 and I stepped up to help with anything I could, and then it grew on me.

No one could have done a better job raising a boy into a man. I feel lucky to have had such a mentor in life and believe that the way I see life now is all thanks to her. Appreciation for people different from you and an open mind to the unknown. Mrs. Au raised an gentleman.

Step Brothers, easily. I cry laughing every time at a new joke that I didnt catch before.

For those that are not aware, our main man, Seabass, recently got back from the Take Action Tour and hit me up with some sick footage of CUTE and himself. Bass spits and couple lines, Shaant rocks the mic and the boys wave those towels like a helicopter.

If anyone is a fan of The Audition, Bass is currently on the road with those boys and will be home in about a month or so. Go and say what up to that chump. Ha.

Everyone! Keep an eye out for some re-issues on DMF product! Plenty of ideas have been floating around between Brett, myself and Bass and hopefully this week they will be put into action and up into the web store for your delight.

The weather outside is getting incredible! Spring needs to hurry up and get here quicker and stay longer than a day.

A lot of things have been taking place in the past week or so; Dazzle Me Formal is now on Twitter, come check us out and drop a line! Our Myspace account has also been under some changes and is in the final stages of being completed. Be ready for the future as well..

Wow. Thats all I can think when I think of Saturday night. Thanks so much to everyone that came and made it the place to be that night. Myself, along with everyone else, had an amazing time and wish it could have kept on going down. We would have been raging until the birds were chirping!

Barack Tee, Thanks Panos

This week our main man Seabass has left for tour with Cute again this time on the Take Action tour. While out on the road he will have our newest tee with him and selling it at any Cute show. This is an exclusive tee from Dazzle in that it is only available from Seabass on the Take Action tour! The tee features the new president, Barack Obama. Anyone lucky enough to grab this tee will have the envy of democrats everywhere.

Weeks before Seabass left for tour, myself, Brett and Bass have been having weekly meetings to discuss our future and what we would to do next for everyone. These weekly discussions have been held at Panos restaurant on Elmwood Ave. in the city. With some help from the very generous employees at Panos, we were able to obtain the same table every week at the same time! This is difficult to do considering we met up friday nights at eight o'clock. The meetings all went excellent as we discussed this very new blog and store layout plus many other things to come. While Seabass is away on tour myself and Brett will manage the home front with communications through email to our man on tour.

There has been so much going on in the last two weeks, it is all exciting and fun. Ill try and sum everything up.

Straight up, I think our new blog layout looks great. Brett spent some time going through his dictionary of HTML terms to get everything all in check for us, and you. The result is amazing. To the right we now have updated links that everyone should check out, our friends in Cute, Crush, and DJ DStar and fellow blogger Corey Moran and his material on fashionis4idiots.blogspot.com

Along with the blog layout, click the Shop Dazzle Me Formal link to the right to see the new store design and NEW threads and the NEW cap! We have two new men's tees up along with the new woman's tee. The store will continue to be updated with more new product including the college cap and the soon to be released Barack Obama tee. This is a unique and youthful way to show your support for the big man himself.

History Part I: New Era & DMF

It's been awhile, we know. I know. However we have all been working over the winter break to bring about new designs and an exciting future to all aspects of Dazzle Me Formal.

How about a little history lesson for everyone? Last week I asked Seabass to give me the low down on the history of New Era Cap and Dazzle Me Formal, this is what he said:

When Chest asked me to write a little bit about our relationship with New Era Cap, I couldn't help but get stoked. TONS of people have asked me in the past what Dazzle has going on with New Era so I will take this opportunity to answer everyone.

When I was 18, after emailing, calling, and explaining what I wanted to do with New Era & Dazzle, I received a phone call from a New Era Cap representative. The representative then sent me a form via email that I filled out. Later when we spoke again the representative said: “Sean, everything looks great, let’s put you right into production.” At that point, we began our arrangement with New Era as the only company in Buffalo allowed a retail deal, and as the owner and founder, I proudly became one of the youngest people to ever achieve a partnership with New Era Cap.

I was then put in touch with Linda at the New Era offices. When we first visited, Linda showed us around to the indoor batting cages, baseball field, and training facilities (pictures below), and then we got down to designing. Ever since then we have been visiting Linda regularly sitting down to design caps. I have never met a person who has a knowledge of caps and color combinations better than Linda. If we come in with an idea she will have no problem expressing her opinion, good or bad, without hesitation.

Whenever Dazzle Me Formal makes a trip into New Era we are always greeted with smiling faces and great color concepts. Every aspect of New Era is amicable, cordial, and comforting. They treat us like family and value our opinions. Additionally, they let us in on the new products, fabrics, and colors way ahead of the rest of the game. Our relationship with New Era is precious. We couldn't be more excited on our situation; we plan on taking full advantage and continuing to release the freshest caps designed in Buffalo, NY.

Christmas Show Recap/2009 Outlook

Wow. The past week has been filled with some great times. I hope everyone had a great holiday and a very happy new year!

To start the week, Coolio was in town for the 4th annual Chris-Mas Party at the Town Ballroom on the 26th of December. Although his performance was cut short by a power outage, Brett and myself witnessed first hand a side of Coolio that was shocking, surprising and fun. Ask for details. The story will amaze anyone.

Then on the 28th of December, once again at Town Ballroom, our local friends Cute Is What We Aim for put on a great show with other Buffalo area bands including our close friends Crush The Everlasting. Along with the music that night was the Dirty Dazzle merch table. First off, everyone from Dirty Dazzle would like to say thank you to anyone who came over to chat, anyone that looked at our threads and fitteds or to anyone that purchased apparel. We appreciate it more than you know and we will continue to work hard to put out a product that everyone can enjoy. The debut of the "Double D" logo shirt was on the table along with the revised "Fonzi" on the striped tee and the premier of the girls "devil wears dazzle" shirt. In our fitted line up, the brand new "eagle" cap was out for everyone to see and touch. Be on the look out for more tees and caps to continue to grow our line.

There is a lot going on with the men of Dirty Dazzle during this lovely month off from school. Lately, so many amazing and exciting ideas are floating around and they will soon be made into reality. Be sure to keep in touch and check back for some more detailed info on the men behind Dirty Dazzle, and some close shots of our new tees and caps and much more!

When Mom used to say; "It is better to give than receive", I seem to think that she knew what she was talking about. As we all become older I believe that most of us find the good thought of giving someone we care about a gift, to show our appreciation for being in our life. Moms are genius, and they are also more advanced than I could ever wish to become at wrapping presents. It takes a certain patience to have tight corners and to be certain the whole object is covered entirely. Praise your mother and her wrapping skills. Not even Santa himself wraps this well.

Next time the snow hits and you are stuck in traffic, or just cruising the 190, take a look around. Dirty Dazzle may be lurking above your head in the same area. Our friends at Independent Health have teamed up with DMF for a program runnning through May 22nd, 2009 to promote a healthy lifestyle for our youth. Smith St. Exit: Off The 190

Every Time I Die

I love this city,

I love this band.

There is nothing in the world like hearing a packed Town Ballroom sing every lyric from a hometown metal band. And when the music stopped, it kept going:

"One, two, three, one, two, three, keep it up, one, two, three!"

If you were not able to make it out to the show, you missed one hell of a party.

Less than a week until Christmas? Who would have thought? The month of December has blown right past all of us at Dirty Dazzle. I have the perfect way to cap it all off with the CIWWAF show on the 28th of December with other local acts and then the after party at our spot on Elmwood Ave. In the holiday season it is also important more than any other time of year to help others out. Therefore the show will benefit the Food Bank of WNY. Meaning, 10$ advanced tickets and 13$ tickets at the door with the donation of a can of a non parishable food item. Go ahead, steal a can from the pantry, no one will notice. Then immediatly following the show, head on down to 1032 Elmwood Ave where DJ DStar will be spinning AGAIN for all to get down to. At the show, make sure to stop by the Dirty Dazzle table right next to Cute's to say hey and check out some of our fresh gear. We will have 3 new shirts rolling out that night for everyone, including 1 new woman's tee, along with 2 new men's tees. Also, with the new threads, we will have the new DMF fitted out in the real world for the first time!

The New

Schools Out For Winter

First and foremost, over the weekend on Sunday the 14th, a friend of the DMF crew had a benefit in support for her Ovarian Cancer. Amy Walker has been going through chemotherapy since early April of 2008 and the benefit was put on by her friends and family to help with the staggering cost of medical bills. DMF was proud to be of any service we could, and so, DMF put a basket together for the chinese auction that took place at the benefit. Brett was attending to show his support and represent the DMF crew. Amy Walker has show great strength over the past few months I have known her and it is a inspiring effect that has rubbed off on myself and many others. On the note of a DMF update; everything is going solid. New designs, new fitted and the soon to be seen "College Cap". Be ready! DMF has been re united upon the return of Bass from his touring duties with our boys CIWWAF. The ideas continue to flow and I would be sure to check the DMF table right next to CIWWAF at their Christmas Show at the Town Ballroom on the 28th.

Our other home town boys, Everytime I Die will have their Christmas Show this Saturday night, the 20th. I will hopefully post some pictures for all of those that will be unable to see this amazing event. I am fired up for this, as I have heard it is a sight to be seen.

Our newly acquired friend and apparent DMF blog reader has started to cite our sources for us. Therefore I may not have to provide them if Anonymous continues this good deed.

Yes, Anonymous is right, I have received most of my influence from Kanye West's blog. Why not? He is a great man and a fashion pioneer. I feel that Kanye's thoughts should be shared with everyone, so for those that do not read Kanye's blog, or any other blog for that matter, I have picked through the material I enjoy and material that I think the DMF crew would appreciate. Then, I post it here. Doesn't every blog do the same? Someone has to find the original source to then provide it on their blog. Its a waterfall effect and it is how we share and inspire. Spreading the word on the latest fashions and styles and art and architecture and music can't possibly be a bad thing to do.

But, a new feature will be provided for all of our readers, yes, even you Anonymous; the links to where my sources have come from. Now everyone can see that it is not just Kanye's influence, but an abundance of sources. I will continue to showcase the clothing, art, architecture, music that I see fit to be spread to the DMF crew. Thanks.

Home For The Holidays

December is the busiest month of the year. No doubt. On the other hand, it's great to see our friends come home for a month to celebrate Christmas and New Years with us. I am very excited for this semester of school to be ending finally and can't wait to sleep in, stay up late and see some missed faces.

In the busy December shuffle, DMF has been on the grind at the same time that you were preparing the night before for that micro economics exam that you needed a B+ to pass. Sound familiar? It's all good. The order has been confirmed for the new "Double D" Dazzle logo sticker along with some postcards to help spread the DMF word. Be on the look out for these, and make sure to get your hands on some. Keeping with the fresh news, one of the new DMF caps has been completed and will be ready in the first week of January for purchase. Stay tuned for continued updates on DMF caps and merchandise.

I hope that everyone is also keeping the night of the 28th open to come hang with our friends from Cute Is What We Aim For and DMF. Check the video below to see our man Seabass spitting a verse on the Cute tour. A reminder that the Town Ballroom will play host to Cute and DMF along with other Buffalo acts for a night of music, friends and drinks. Then more drinks at a DMF after party? Why not.

This will be the first of (hopefully) many posts I will orchestrate strictly dedicated to the companies that we have partnered with. There have been a couple, so I will start with the most recent: Invisionit, LLC.

Dazzle was recently approached by Gretchen Fierle, CEO of Invisionit, LLC and she was really stoked on what our company had been doing, what our intentions were, and how we present ourselves. She said she had heard some great things about our events and the people that we connect with are the same people that she targeted for her market. She told me all about herself and what she had in mind: Invisionit LLC is a service company that completes personality assessments for young adults between the ages of 16 and 26 to determine natural strengths and passions. Gretchen asked Dazzle to offer some branding/design ideas for her clients to receive post-testing on merchandise. Since then, DMF & Invisionit have been tossing ideas back and forth and have been coming up with some great ideas. Here is a sample:

Lake Effect & The Internet

The first good snow of the season is falling. However with the always changing Buffalo weather, who knows how long it will stay. But when it is here, it's beautiful. The past few days have been busy with always new ideas bouncing between the DMF crew. We are planning to have a winter meeting once everyone is back in town and we are all able to sit down and vibe it out. I can say that with all of these great ideas coming from everyone at DMF, only good things can happen. Make sure you are sticking with us to see some results.

On the continuing note of new adventures, to stay up to date on the always changing culture of our world is time consuming but very enjoyable. Using the internet as a tool, it provides an endless journey of information and input from thousands of intelligent and amazing minds around the world. Everyone at DMF wants to provide you with an insight on all of this through our blog. Doing so, my bookmarks folder on my computer has increased ten-fold with all the literature provided via the internet and will only continue to grow.

Make sure to check back with DMF for continued information on the dirty on our progress as well as the current cool in our industry.

Family Values, Giving Thanks

With the holidays coming along, it's great to see our family and friends come back home. It's even better when our family and friends come back into town and then party with us! If you didn't come on down to 1032 Elmwood on Saturday the 29th then you missed out on an amazing gathering. Our good friends Corey Moran and DJ DStar were back in Buffalo for the thanksgiving festivities. To cap off a great weekend, our guys from This Is An Empire threw a great black & white themed party with Jay and Adam spinning first to warm up the crew for DJ DStar who came in and just killed it. A big thank you to DJ DStar for getting our feet moving and hands in the air while ripping up some nasty songs on the tables.

For everyone that missed it, I'll give you the low down on where to see the happening that night. Corey posted a great slide show along with some kind words on the Dazzle Me Formal crew on the fashionindie.com blog here. Another thank you goes out to Corey for spreading the DMF word around the country and letting everyone know that Buffalo knows how to get down and dirty. The pictures from that night can only say so much for the scene in the basement at 1032 Elmwood. The fantastic photos from that night were taken by Lauren Hall, and I'd like to send her a big thanks for letting us use the pictures to showcase the solid night that took place on Saturday.

For the future, make sure that if you want to hear some good beats along with having some drinks with good people that you stop by any DMF supported event. Since we are always thinking ahead here at DMF, the 28th of December our boys from Cute Is What We Aim For will be having a show at the Town Ballroom. Of course DMF will have a table at the event and be around to hang with everyone, however.... after party anyone? Stay tuned.

Black & White Saturday

I do understand this may be short notice, however, on the night of the 29th, a Saturday in November there will be a solid party going down at our haven on elmwood avenue in Buffalo. Our boys from This Is An Empire will be hosting the event with Jay and Adam spinning along with an out of town guest DJ D.Star. To make it even better, they are requiring a black and white dress code. Who doesn't like to get all dazzled up and look fresh when sharing some drinks with friends? On another note, I have the privilege of announcing some new dazzle me formal updates coming soon in the new year. Brett and Bass have been working hard with our friends from New Era to create another fly cap to add to the DMF line up in the first week of 2009. Believe me, just seeing the concept ideas for this cap get me excited and I am sure it will be a nasty final product. Along with the new cap, we are in the works to get some more threads ready for the summer to make sure we all stay cool in the beautiful Buffalo sun. Finally, we are also hoping soon that we can start to circulate the new "double D" dirty dazzle logo sticker(Pictured below). It will be the perfect accessory for any car window, skate deck, lap top or any other place that needs to be made dirty with some dazzle.

Coming At You More Dirty Than Ever

Yes, we know it has been a long time since the last post. However with more soldiers added to the Dazzle army we are all confident that you will continue to visit the Dirty Dazzle blog as your hot spot for the latest in Dazzle Me Formal fitted and threads as well as the dirty in fashion and life.

Ok, an update on the current status of the DMF team. This may be older news to some of you, however for everyone else I will inform you that Bass is on the road currently touring with our friends from Cute Is What We Aim For. No need to panic! We still have a great crew on the home front in Buffalo, as well as around the country. Mad help from our local nickel city boys Brett, Arjun, Adam, and the newest dirty addition, Glenn a.k.a Chest. We have all been stepping up our game to keep the DMF party going. In other parts of the nation, Max, in Michigan and Corey, in New York City, have been getting in on the dirty as well. Max took some fresh photos of the latest fitteds and clothing along with shots of Cute and Bass from the road. Big thanks to Cory also for keeping in touch as well as getting DMF a shout out on the fashionindie.com blog site.

Now, with that being said, I can tell you for sure that checking back with the Dirty Dazzle blog would be a great idea. There is much more to be said..
