Tuesday Is FLOday

On the verge of the Dazzle Me Formal: Spring Summit Meeting in rainy Buffalo... A lot to be talked about tonight with myself, Brett and DMF's friend Corey. Seabass will hopefully be able to join via video chat! This is an exciting time for us as well as all of our supporters. Meet Dazzle Me Formal Part IV: Arjun

It's nice to finally see the sun out today! Anyone else who left school early is cool by me. Now that everyone is reading this, I am now outside or finding an excuse to stay outside all day!

Tonight Brett has an art show in the city, I am pretty interested to see what this kid works on all night when he "can't" come out. I think he's lying but I'll let everyone know after I snap some shots tonight of him in action. For anyone interested, come check it out! Here's some information on it. Drop on by and we'll have some drinks and discuss politics and art.

I woke this morning to an exciting text; Bass is on the road again! Today at high Noon, Bass went to meet up with Honey, Honey and head out on their tour for a few weeks. If you're in the area of any of their shows, drop by and give the guy a hug for me, he's always on the move! Brett and myself will hold it down on the home front and keep the ideas flowing. A meeting next week is scheduled to get all of our thoughts for the Summer in line. We will keep you posted!

Who are your biggest influences in life, and why?

Biggest influences in my life are my parents and Tiger Woods. Such motivated human beings and always striving to achieve the best at whatever they are doing.

How did you get involved with Dazzle?

My boy Bass and I were walking the street of NYC and he told me he wanted to start a clothing company that could change what he was doing with life. I believed in him and followed him from there knowing this kid has something special.

I love my mom because she has tried to instill values and discipline in me.

Jerry Seinfeld, or Seinfeld in general, has had the most influence on my life. I celebrate Festivus every single year. Yes, I have the pole.

Meet Dazzle Me Formal Part II: Glenn "Chest"

Last week myself and Brett had an exciting trip to New Era to meet with Linda and discuss new caps and let the ideas flow. The meeting went very well. We did some re-ordering and also are in the works on two new caps for all of you! This new cap is going to be amazing, I am so excited to see the final product once it comes. You should all be excited as well.

Some modifications to the woman's Albright tee and the men's Fonz tee are in the final stages too. Who are your biggest influences in life, and why?

Im going to go with two extremes here, one Grandpa Scamurra, and the other being Kanye West. Gramps always has a great perspective on life and an appreciation for family that I want to model. Kanye is just a pioneer and a original person who doesnt give a fuck what anyone has to say.

Superbad, Cloverfield, Goodfellas

Polo by Ralph lauren, If i could wear Polo everyday, there is no doubt in my mind that I would.

What is your role in Dazzle?

I work with all on-line aspects of Dazzle and ship out all the product.

How did you get involved with Dazzle?

Bass left for tour with CUTE in October of 08 and I stepped up to help with anything I could, and then it grew on me.

Why do you love your mom?

No one could have done a better job raising a boy into a man. I feel lucky to have had such a mentor in life and believe that the way I see life now is all thanks to her. Appreciation for people different from you and an open mind to the unknown. Mrs. Au raised an gentleman.

What is your favorite will ferrel movie?

Step Brothers, easily. I cry laughing every time at a new joke that I didnt catch before.

Boxers or briefs?

Gap boxer briefs. Anything else is inferior.

Who's sexy?

Audrey Hepburn and any woman where the hip bones jut our from her skin. So so sexy.

Favorite season?

Fall because the sun is still warm and winter because layering clothes is fun.

Meet Dazzle Me Formal Part I: Brett

Dazzle Me Formal doesn't want to be a mystery. Straight up. We would love to know all of you, however, we can imagine how difficult that may be. But we can take it upon ourselves to introduce ourselves to all of you! In the next couple of weeks you'll see a new member of the DMF crew highlighted here on the blog. We don't want to hide behind our designs and computer screens for too long, and we're always excited to hear from anyone!

First up, Brett. Here is what he had to say in response to some questions:

Who are your biggest influences in life, and why?

Anyone self-made is a role model to me. Jack Kerouac is a man who I will always look at, and know at any point you can just pick up your shit and go. 007 and Ryan Reynolds are pretty slick too. 

Top 3 favorite movies?

Wet Hot American Summer, Cabin Fever, and a tie between Independence Day and American Pie.

Top 3 favorite music albums?

Clarity - Jimmy Eat World, Usher - Usher,  Number One Fan - Compromises

Favorite fashion influences or designers or brands in clothing?

If you feel cool in what you're wearing, thats the point. People looking confident, that's the type of stuff that influences me.

What is your role in Dazzle?

Head of the design department and branding consultant. Ideas, ideas, ideas. 

How did you get involved with Dazzle?

When you do good work, and look good doing it, Seabass will find you.

Why do you love your mom?

Mrs. Karen Mikoll is like an Andes after-dinner mint. She is the sweetest thing, and I look forward to seeing her whenever I come home. So refreshing to have someone in my life that is so genuine.

What is your favorite Will Ferrel movie?

Honestly, although his part is brief, you cant beat Wedding Crashers.

Boxer Briefs for sure, keeps everything in check.

Who's sexy?

Megan Fox, holy shit.

Favorite season of weather?

Gotta give it up for Fall in Buffalo. We normally cant pride ourselves on weather, but for that brief moment in the year, I cant be anywhere else. But then there's summer girls...

For those that are not aware, our main man, Seabass, recently got back from the Take Action Tour and hit me up with some sick footage of CUTE and himself. Bass spits and couple lines, Shaant rocks the mic and the boys wave those towels like a helicopter.

If anyone is a fan of The Audition, Bass is currently on the road with those boys and will be home in about a month or so. Go and say what up to that chump. Ha.

Everyone! Keep an eye out for some re-issues on DMF product! Plenty of ideas have been floating around between Brett, myself and Bass and hopefully this week they will be put into action and up into the web store for your delight.

Also, big shout out and THANK YOU to Lola Hagopian. Lola is a friend of DMF that has been spreading some of our love in the great state of Texas! If you know Lola, hit her up for some stickers that I just sent her way. Lola is our girl.

New designs are in the mix for a summer or fall release? It is a big window, I know. Dazzle is working hard to put out some new dope designs and come up with some more product for our ladies! Dazzle gets into jewelry? It's in the works!
